How do you get inspired to write?

M.J. Preston Inspiration comes from many places. Sometimes it can be something as simple as looking at a building or watching an individual from afar. Creepy, I know. But that is the business of a writer. You must be a good listener and a excellent observer. Notice I didn't use the words eavesdropper and stalker.

What are you currently working on?

M.J. Preston I am working on a promotional Novella called: HIGHWAYMAN which will be given away digitally for free and will do a short print run with Great Old nes Publishing in the near future.

M.J. Preston Read, as much as you can, whenever you can.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

M.J. Preston Usually by carrying out a ritual killing. I target Habs Fans; they are so annoying.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

M.J. Preston I was on the the worlds longest Ice Road over the course of two seasons that spanned 2012 and 2013.
