My most recent book was inspired the the economic and social conditions I was raised in as a youth. I wrote the book to do three things: inspire, inform, and entertain. I inspire the reader to make it through any tough situation they find themselves. My main character went through some horrific things. Despite what he was going through, he never gave up. I inform the reader about the causes and effects of inner city living. The book also will have the ready completely entertained. The book is definitely a page turner.

The best thing about being a writer is being able to go on a different journey every time you explore your mind. A writer is simply an artist who uses paper as his or her canvas, and words are used to exercise creativity.

When I have writer's block, I step away from the pad or keyboard, go to a great restaurant, order a great meal, and forget about the project! LOL As I sit and eat a great meal, ideas begin to pour in. I place those ideas as topics in my notepad. Once I get back to the writing platform, I use the ideas that came to me and get back to writing. This process works every time.
