Just wanted to say, THANKS SO VERY MUCH for the release of Puck! I've been waiting for his story. I'm so excited! Will there be more of this series?

I do love that people seem to be really liking the combo of Navy SEAL, MC alpha boys and ex-Undercover cops - and the women who love them.

I read my first series by The Druid!! Loved it but I was starting at the top of your list and cannot seem to find The Blood series on amazon, Where do I get it?

Does A Brutal Tenderness tell me what happens to Brad? I just finished (and loved) A Terrible Love, but I lost track of Brad? What is the end of that story?

So far, there are three books in this series. Dec Clearwater appears in book #3, THE DARKEST JOY, and I will be writing #4 this year, IN BROKEN LOVE which talks about Dec. Brad's story would follow in 2017 and is yet untitled.

There are a few options for keeping abreast of new release(s) and the best one is to subscribe to my spam-free newsletter. I only email for new release and cover reveal.

Other ways to keep in touch is to like my Facebook page where I'm most active. (Please msg. me there and we'll chat further.)

Lastly, since you dug ATL, you might also like the following works:

Hi Tamara! I've been a long-time reader of your books -- for years, Marata Eros and Tamara Rose Blodgett. I'm trying to piece together my (at this point extensive) collection of your titles. In other words, I'd like to find a comprehensive list of ALL your series, each book, in order. Is there such an animal out there anywhere?

How much research do you do when writing a book? How much thought goes into each scene and plot?

Marata Eros Hi Jordan,

Those are insightful questions :) Most of my work is fantasy-based, so I take creative license on many things, lol. When it comes to weaponry, I do research that. Basically, on the more mundane things, I write what I know.

Regarding "ease" of writing, scenes which involve sex and violence come easily, as does dialog. Descriptive scenes are the most challenging to write. Depending on the book (this is my pen name), some books are more heavily researched. THE PEARL SAVAGE was the most researched book I've written to date. A TERRIBLE LOVE; I used my decade-long experience in ballet for part of the plot (writing what you know), so in answer to your question, I mainly write, and do a little research. I don't go too much beyond my experience set so that I might lend authenticity to the work, if that makes sense.

How do you feel about one review for an entire series? I am putting to gether my review for Goodreads, and am finding it diffucult to separate out the different books as they all depend on each other. This really could have been one long book, and that's how I want to review it. Is that difficult for an author to see? I mean, I've kind of already written it, I just was curious what you think of that. Thanks.

Marata Eros Oh boy--sorry Kimberly--I missed this question! It's not really up to me how a reader reviews a work. They own their thoughts. If it makes it simpler for you, I'm really for that :)

As far as "it should have been one book," I'm not sure what series you're referring to?

HI! So I've just finished the Dara Series, and I'm finishing up the Druid series and LOVE THEM ALL! I'll do a full review when I'm done with #9. My question is, it seems like a lot of your books/series overlap (not Dara)? Maybe I misunderstand, but I'm trying to sort out what order to read things in and which series to read next? Does the Token series or the Diren Series continue on with characters from Druid? Thanks!

Marata Eros Hi Kimberly and thanks for reading my work! Yes, many of my stories overlap. The Dara shorts feed right into Zoe (as she's introduced in that bundle). All the Zoe shorts are currently available with the bundle ready to release on New Year's Day. Druid is tied to Siren and somewhat loosely to the newest series, Demon (I suggest you move to EMBER, Siren #1 after you finish Druid #9). Since you did the Dara shorts, you might also enjoy my new dark paranormal short series coming soon.

The Token series is not paranormal but is dark romantic suspense. Currently, the first three books are bundled and just went free. I have received this question before and might just include sequence in a more obvious way in the description(s). Marata Eros Hey Tanya and thanks for writing! The simple answer is 5. THE DARKEST JOY features secondary character (Dec Clearwater). IN BROKEN LOVE will release in 2015 and will be Dec's story. Please sign up for my newsletter for the cover reveal of IBL and book #5's title and cover release as well. IBL is slated for spring, with #5 to release in autumn of 2015. Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marata Eros This is the #1 question, and the most difficult to answer. Usually I get an idea. And that idea roams around in my brain for awhile. Then a second idea will come and combine with the first and a story is born. I find character names, they start talking.... on and on. Before I know it, it's The End.

How do you get inspired to write?

Marata Eros This is more a matter of not allowing the compulsion for writing to take over. I have to literally force myself not to write or I'd never have a day off. The stories work on me all the time!

What are you currently working on?

Marata Eros I generally work on two works at the same time. Currently, I'm working on THE TOKEN 8 and will finish that up next week while reading through my last book in The Savage Series: THE SAVAGE PROTECTOR to begin writing book #6, THE SAVAGE DREAM. I will also be working on an erotic box bundle and writing one short per week :)

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Marata Eros This is three-fold.

First: KEEP WRITING, never stop! Second: Hire out editing. This is critical. Third: Get great cover art.

Be good to everyone, even if they're not good to you.

Marata Eros Hey Kristy and thanks so much for reading ATL & ABT! Have you read, THE DARKEST JOY? Though it is a stand alone, it features FBI agent Decatur "Dec" Clearwater as a secondary character.

I'm about 20% through book #4, IN BROKEN LOVE, which will release in 2015 and tell Dec's story. Based in Seattle again, IBL very much continues the "feel" of the preceding books.
