I take a break and listen to music, watch a movie, do some crafts, draw, or sleep. When my brain feels rested enough, the ideas will start flowing again.

Being able to kill your characters when you're fed up with them and then bringing them back to life by deleting the scene. LOL! But in all seriousness, making up worlds and people that become as real to you as the people in your life.

Read a lot and then read some more. Study best selling authors' works and writing styles and learn from their prose. Don't give up on writing and find your own voice. Hire an editor to help you see how you can better your writing. I learned so much from my own editor.

I'm working on book 3 in The Creatura Series (the final book). I'm also getting my feet wet as an editor and putting together a multi-author anthology with a Day of the Dead theme for my publisher CHBB called Sugar Skulls. It'll be out later this year. I'm helping writer/producer, Dan Baker of Timid Monster, with the final draft of the ARV-3 short film (based on the book by Cameo Renae), scheduled for filming sometime in the next week or so. I also have other projects in the works that are on hold because of the workload I have now.
