I've got a lot going on my life, and sometimes it's hard to get inspired. But I've found, over the years, the best way to get inspired is just to sit down and write. I'll read a few pages that I wrote previously and then just try to continue the momentum.

My most recent book, Miriam's Surrender, is coming out September 10. It's the sequel to The Seduction of Esther (but can be read as a standalone) and so my idea for Miriam came from Esther. The villain in Esther is the hero in Miriam and I loved the idea of trying to redeem him. Miriam was a very uptight character in the first book as well, and I wanted to loosen her up a bit. It was fun and I hope you enjoy it!
