For Tides of Deception, I was so starved for a creative outlet that the only thing I had time for was writing. So I wrote two books on my phone. I had read a book called Nobody's Princess and Nobody's Prize, and I loved the story so much, but there was never a 3rd installment. I guess writing these books was a way to get that 3rd installment, but with everything that I could ever want in a book or series! So basically I wrote a book that I would want to read, taking inspiration from Nobody's Princess, The Red Queen, the Cruel Prince, and then added everything I wanted to see!

I read! I love reading, and when I read, especially when I see something that I wish the author would do with or for the characters, that gives me some insight into what I might do if I were writing that book. Then I apply it to my own story line. For Tides of Deception it was a bit different in that, I was so starved for a creative outlet that the only thing I had time for was writing. So I wrote two books on my phone. I had read a book called Nobody's Princess, and Nobody's Prize and I loved the story so much but there was never a 3rd installment. Just start! It doesn't matter if it's the beginning of a story or in the middle. If it's a fully formed idea and plan or if you're just winging it! Just start. Close your eyes and pay attention to what you see, what you hear, what you smell, and just let yourself be swept away by it. Then just start describing it and the rest will come with time. And editing, omg lots of editing haha but it's worth it 100%

The limitless possibilities. I love it. It's so fun and freeing and I can dive into a world of my own creations where even I don't know what's going to happen next and that keeps thins, not just interesting and exciting for me, but also for the reader.

I focus on something else and try to completely forget my book or what I was working on and dive fully into another completely unrelated project. Then, eventually, I''ll feel the call pulling stronger than ever and be drawn back into my work with a vengeance. You simply must wait. I found whenever I forced myself to continue, be it drawing, writing, painting, what have you, that it NEVER turned out well.

The door shut with a decisive SLAM, sealing her fate in this netherworld of the lost souls of those who came before her to this place of darkness and despair. The stench was unbearable as she tried to move her legs through the thick, frigid, murky waters of the damned, until she heard herself scream, the shrill note piercing through the void and earning the attention of something in the deep, darkness. A spirit as old as time itself, its power endless as it raised itself up out of the void, and consumed her body and soul.

Oh easy. The Lord of the Rings hands down. I'd love to explore Rivendell, and Mirkwood, and Hobbiton, as well as Gondor! I think it would be beautiful. Also, the fae land in The Cruel Prince sounds really cool!

Heracy by Katie, and The Book of Cin. As well as book 3 in the ACOTAR series!

I was adopted and raised in a wonderful family. Unfortunately, my adopted father passed away at the age of 6. I think this might be a really interesting and relatable plot for a book!
