It's essentially about obsession and about how our actions can have unforeseen consequences, sometimes with tragic outcomes. It describes a man's quest to gain justice for a woman he never knew and the effect it has on his relationships, especially with his wife.

I have quite a few downloaded Kindle books that I'm likely to read on my next holiday in April. These include books by John Grisham, Bernard Cornwell and others that I read regularly. The ones I actually read may depend on my mood at the time.

It was simply based on the principle that every decision we make and every action we take can change the rest of our lives. They also change the lives of those around us, and of others around them. It's just a ripple effect moving ever outwards.
