[NSFW] was inspired by the PTSD stories that social media moderators reported experiencing. I decided to make it a 'meet-cute' situation and explore a few different themes. It darn near wrote itself.

Learn structure and plot. Use it as a Trojan Horse for all your subversive ideas. It's all about execution. Let the reader in on the joke. Too many young authors try to be mysterious. Also, raising the stakes doesn't mean a "bigger bomb", it means RAISE THE EMOTIONAL INVESTMENT. Also, a dollop of humor helps every story.
