Like most of the things that I write, I started with a scene in my head that intrigued me. This one would be a spoiler, but it takes place in the middle of the book. From this scene I just started building a world around it, that could logically support it. This world came together nicely - three books worth of world, and the rest is history.

Write. Seek feedback and suggestions from everyone you can. Especially those who know more or have more experience. Take the feedback to heart, learn, and then write some more. You first have to learn what in your writing needs improvement, then learn to fix it, then start the process over again. But always during this process - write!

I am currently working on book 3 of the Arrowhead series (The Treleous Origin) which will tie up the current arc for these characters. Book 2, The Arrowhead Protocol is set to be released from Black Rose Writing in January 2025.
