It helps you get clarity on a subject. I'd say, I can quantify certain concepts NOW after I've written about it. It increased your learning more than 10X. And of course, the feeling of pride, and satisfaction that you are able to add value to so many people, is just amazing.

I am currently working on a program"Secrets to rock in public speaking", that'll help anyone learn public speaking skills, and communication skills in an easy to understand, easy to implement manner. This is based on strategies used by the best of TED speakers and Toastmasters. I want to write a book based on the results of this course. I know this is ambitious but I really want to add value to more people based on results of the course.

Writing is one of those skills that helps you impact and add value to a lot of people. The trigger was my interest in speaking contests. In order to deliver winning speeches, you need to WRITE winning speeches. I'd say that I developed the muscle during that period. Of course book writing is a different challenge, but at least I was able to handle it.

I'm a software techie who is passionate about public speaking. That's why you'll find my books in both these categories. I always wanted a practical book which will guide software techie's in a proper way. These are things that nobody teaches. In fact, the ideas expressed in "Confessions of a Software Techie" will help anyone working in the corporate world.
