I can't say there is a best thing about being a writer. It's something fulfilling because I love it. It's a natural thing for me, so it's not something I try to do, it's something I do.
But let me give warning. It takes a person of thick skin to write for the public. Your biggest critics are people who loves reading and are honest with what they get out of a story. If you don't satisfy the masses, you'll stop in your tracks and question why is it you're putting yourself out there.
I've learned that I can't satisfy everyone but I write for me first. Then I pray people like what they read or see from the screen.

The book world is challenging, yet it's rewarding. If you're working hard to get into the industry, please hone your craft. It's a big deal being creative but writing it well enough to gain interest requires your due diligence. If you can't get classes, join a writer's group.

Another true event that occurred where heartbreak isn't simply a phone call or a walk out. In this case it's surviving abusive and recovering enough to love again. How is it done? What type of people can do it? What are the circumstances and is it real enough to endure future challenges (emotional and physical).

Observing events that touch me, inspires me to create a story behind it or finishing the series with truth in common behaviors. I get inspired from conversations and daily life challenges from multiple perspectives.
I do not have one source, yet I have a greater push and that is the message I receive from a greater being. I write from the heart.

I observe people in all capacities, and human behavior is attractive, appealing, shocking, and of course real making people watching perfect for a story. I find events through life makes the best stories.
What happens when you rediscover a lost love? How do they find the path to reunite?
How does a woman rebuild her esteem after abuse? How will a man love a woman who's body is scarred from accidents or abuse? Who finds the odd man attractive? How does being a widow create a woman's interest? These are real questions that strike curiosity and makes for a great story.
My last book A Loss Too Great - was a spin off from A Cyber Affair where Tom loses more than he can handle. It's partially a true story based on close observation. Loss can be greater than most people can handle.
