I'm working on a Middle Grade series. The first book, Bubba and Squirt's Big Dig to China, published by Dancing Lemur Press, is scheduled to be released September 4, 2018.

I've enjoyed writing since I was a kid. I never thought I'd be a published author, though. My daughter, who was three years old at the time, encouraged me to get my first book published. That book was, That Baby Woke Me Up, AGAIN. The year was 2005. The rest is history.

I wanted to write an alphabet book. I'm not sure how, but an elephant popped into my head. A ravenous, playful one. I imagined what he might do with various foods, beginning with animal crackers and ending with zebra cakes.
