Z-Boat covers were done via an artist the publisher hired. The Dead by Midnight covers were done by an artist.

Not sure. It is tough to be a writer. But I can't imagine not doing it - must be the sense of accomplishment when you finish a book and have done all you can to make it the best.

I make myself write through it. Even if what I put to paper is terrible the more I get down the more the creative energies flow. If that fails, there is always chocolate.

I am not sure if it is inspiration or something I do because I enjoy it so much - either way when I get hit with a great idea (at least one I think is great, I get to work).

I like to mix up fairy-tales and mythology and have fun. Ideas can come from anywhere, mixing up the plot of a movie and a book or wondering "what if" in a particular mythology.

I am currently wrapping up edits on Apocalypse by Midnight, the sequel to Dead by Midnight. My goal is an April/May release.
