Stop worrying about and reading what is going on in the industry and work on your book. Write the book that you'd want to read. Get inspiration from reading authors who write the kind of book you want to write.
I have a stack of rejections. It took 5 years before I sold my first book, but in that time, I kept writing. I had numerous manuscripts finished at that point. I worked on my craft and voice in those drafts. I revised them numerous times as I got better at the craft. If you really want to be a writer - write - and never give up. Find the agents and editors who are working on books like yours. Just because you queried them with one book doesn't mean you can't try them again with a revision or new book. Maybe it wasn't a good fit at the time and it is now. You never know. If you love it, don't let anything stand in your way.

Hi Natalia, sorry it took me so long to answer. I've been writing like crazy. Yes, Drake gets his own story. I just finished writing it. His book is Tough Talking Cowboy. It will be book 3 in my new Wild Rose Ranch Series. It's not up for preorder yet, but the first book - Dirty Little Secret - Is. I love the idea of a Montana Women series. We'll see. Right now, I've got 6 books coming in 2019/2020, including a women's fiction book - The Me I Used to Be. A big family drama with some suspense and of course a little romance.

Hi Jan, for some reason, I didn't see this until now. Sorry to respond so late. Yes, all the Kendrick men get their own books. Rory is Stone Cold Cowboy, Colt is Her Renegade Rancher (not avail. yet) and I just finished writing Ford's book. No title for him yet.
Stone Cold Cowboy is out 2/23/16. Colt's book will be out 10/25/16.
I don't have a date for Ford's book yet. Probably early 2017 for him.

Hi Rosie, Summer and Caleb have their own novella. Can't Wait. It's the prequel to The Hunted Series and The Montana Men series. The Hunted Series follows Summer's family. The Montana Men are Caleb's three brothers.
You might also like to know Book 5 of The Hunted Series will be out in Jan. 2016 Everything She Wanted is Ben's book. It's up for Pre-order on Amazon now.

The Montana Men are an offshoot of the prequel (CAN'T WAIT) I wrote for The Hunted series. Caleb and Summer get married and Caleb's brothers, Gabe, Blake, and Dane show up for the wedding. Caleb is Summer's Montana Man. I had to write his brother's stories. We've got a rancher, a racehorse trainer, and a rodeo daredevil.
So excited the series starts with At Wolf Ranch on 2/24.

HI Natalie, I don't have plans to add any more books to the McBride series, though Greg from Dylan's Redemption would make a great hero in the future. Right now, I'm writing book 5 of The Hunted Series. Fans have demanded Ben's book and I am happy to deliver. No title yet, but it'll be out in January 2016. The Montana Men come out this year, starting with At Wolf Ranch on 2/24.
