I take a break from writing. I watch a movie or go for a walk.

I get to learn about other people's lives, their struggles and their triumphs. It is a privilege for me that someone on the other side of the world has actually gone to the trouble to pay for and read my work.

Just keep going. Don't give up. My first book took me ten years to write, on and off. The end result is a small paperback with little more than a hundred pages. In this case, size literally doesn't matter. It's the message that is important.

I am currently working on two projects.
The first project is a story based on Psalm 119.
The second project is a life story of a friend of mine, a Blues singer from Texas. He was on the verge of committing suicide but, in his own words, "God had another plan".
He has since turned his life around and is enjoying success in many ways in his life.

From reading the Bible, or from God speaking to me.
I am also inspired by listening to people's own stories. Everyone has a story, just waiting to be written down.

From a church meeting some ten years ago.
The Bible reading was from Luke 23:39-43:
“One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!”
But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”
And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And he said to him,“Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
