If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Mari Collier One where I would be on a different planet with a different culture. I would be a student aiming to become someone who would fly in the starships.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Mari Collier it was just after WWII and my oldest brother and finance would be married the next week. We had had a picnic and were lazing inside on the huge double bed in the bedroom; my oldest brother, his finance, my youngest brother and myself. My favorite hair clip of a red rose and pearl fell out and onto the floor. I went down onto the floor and couldn't find it. Then everyone was on the floor, my older brother searched under the bed, my sister-in-law-to-be tore the bed apart (and remade it), but the clip was never found. It had been swallowed by a black hole.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Mari Collier Sayward and Portious in Conrad Richter's trilogy, The Awakening Land. They are so different, yet their marriage survives eight children, death of a child, infidelity in a time when there were no medicines for a woman weakened by childbirth, and the plain, hard work required of humans in the middle 19th century. A fantastic tale of family bounds.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Mari Collier I've never experienced that. If you do, write anyway. Write a daily journal, write your memories, write your friends, but do not stop putting words on paper.
