Judith Robl If you have an idea, just pursue it. Set yourself a goal - word count per day/week or something definable and doable. Then sit down and write. Just write. Don't read what you've written. You can paralyze yourself with second guessing. When you have the project done, then you can tear it all apart again and make it wonderful. And you're not done yet. Find some beta readers, preferably writerly types who write in your genre. After you get their feed back (this worked - I got lost here - what did you mean by...), you fix those things. Then it's time to find an editor.

Just know that writing is work. Treat it like a 9-5 job (even if you can only work from 10 pm to midnight) and enjoy the process.
