Simona are you planning on writing another book? I love your writing and can't wait for you new projects the "only one night" series is AMAZING, can we get more of them??? and thank you so much for setting your book in Sweden! It's so hard to find books set outside of the US or England (in romance novels) so it was a breath of fresh air!. Greetings from Argentina! We love you!

Hello, Simona. I've read your novel "All in" translated to Portuguese, and I love it. As far as I know is the first title of your books to be translated into Portuguese.I would like to know about your other novels; historical and non-historical. I've read about the next one "Falling". How can I purchase your English translations? Thank you

Simona Ahrnstedt Hi there and thank you for your kind kind words! I am sort of pioneering swedish romance; for many years I was the only swedish romance writer, now I few are being published, but so far my trilogy is the only one being published in English. Keep your eyes out for FALLING, it will be out in July, I think.

I enjoyed your talk in Gothenburg last fall that Storytel arranged. Thank you for standing up to the genre and tell me it is worth reading. I've read (listened to) two of your books so far and I've become your fan. How did you reach out to your readers before you were an established writer?
Simona Ahrnstedt Oh, I´m so glad to hear it, it was a fabulous talk we did in Gothenburg, me and Kakan. I´m so happy that you are a proud romance reader. I have really gone the long way - before I got published I used my blog to reach out. But I have never self published, only the traditional way.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Simona Ahrnstedt I have so many favorite couples. Josie and Mayne in Eloisa James´Pleasure for Pleasure. Sir Percy and Marguerite in the Scarlet Pimpernel. Sebastien and Evie in Devil in Winter. The list could just go on; this is the brilliant thing with the Romance genre; there are so many talented writers who have written som many awesome books. One of my favorite couples is actually not av love couple, but two friends; Modesty Blaise and Willie Garvin.

Very much enjoyed All in, and am looking forward to finding out how Alexander and Isobel come together. I also enjoyed reading about Swedish life and the class system that seems to be evident. Is it truly like that in Sweden? Life in New Zealand is very different and it was great to read about another culture.

Simona Ahrnstedt Thank you, Kathy, that makes me really happy to hear! I am editing book two as we´re speaking, it will be out next year in the US. And I just finished book 3 - it will be the last in this installment and will also be out in the US as soon as it is translated, hope you will enjoy them all!

Simona Ahrnstedt Hello and THANK you so much! Am happy you enjoyed ALL IN. The second and third installment will be translated into english as well as into french. I have written three historical romances and hopefully they will be translated some day, too. All best!

Is "All In" a standalone novel or have you planned it as the first of a series? I loved the book by the way. Deeply flawed characters but with so many layers that I found them intriguing as well as deeply enticing.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Simona Ahrnstedt Impossible to answer - ideas are everywhere all the time.

How do you get inspired to write?
Simona Ahrnstedt Someone said that inspiration is for amateurs. I just write. If I´m lucky, inspiration will strike, but I write anyway.

What are you currently working on?
Simona Ahrnstedt The third installment in my contemporary trilogy. It will be released in Sweden in august 2016.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Simona Ahrnstedt You have to want to write more than you want to do anything else. And don´t be to harsh on yourself, write what YOU like, not what others think you ought to write.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Simona Ahrnstedt The freedom! The late mornings! And, of course, the writing itself. I love writing.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Simona Ahrnstedt By writing! Always. Better to write anything, you can edit bad writing, you cannot edit a blank page. I also do research when I´m stuck, interview someone or read a book about something that has to do with the text I´m currently writing.
