M.D. Grimm Take your time and build your skills and tools. And try not to bite off more than you can chew. All advice I wish someone had told me... Allow yourself the right to have your first books be "okay" and recognize they are stepping stones. And get beta readers!
M.D. Grimm Creating... and sharing that creation with others.
M.D. Grimm I, uh, don't get writer's block. If anything, I get writer's overload--I'm working on too many projects and can't settle on which one to give attention to. When that happens I either flip a coin or work on another creative project to clear my mind. Or a re-read a book that brings me simply joy and lets me escape.
M.D. Grimm The child heard the screams and footsteps coming closer. Staring at the river, they wondered, why was the water red?
M.D. Grimm Middle Earth, hands down. I'd either be riding through the fields of Rohan or diving into the library at Minas Tirith, becoming dusty and irritable and having the time of my life. And maybe take a trip into Mordor just to see the ruins of Barad-Dur and flip a finger.
