Please tell me that there is going to be another book in the Scarlet series!!! I read the books in less than 4 days and I cannot live without knowing the next chapter (or hopefully book) in this series. Is there going to be another book?
A.C. Gaughen Though I definitely have more stories of Scar and Rob's lives in my head, I don't currently have any plans to share them. I'm sorry, but thank you for the love!!

A.C. Gaughen Not quite sure at the moment, but my current plan (publishing willing!) is four books!

I love the covers of these books! Who designed them?
A.C. Gaughen The art is done by Melanie Delon, and the rest of the cover (font etc) is designed in-house by Bloomsbury! Aren't they STUNNING?

Why did you choose to make a story based off of Robin Hood? If you could, would you make more stories based of of other historical folk tales and such?
A.C. Gaughen Possibly--but this story really just spoke to me. I'd have to have the same kind of inspiration--the same ability to understand the story. But I'm not ruling it out!

Do you plan to write any more series any time soon?
A.C. Gaughen I DOOO! This was just announced yesterday, but I think the books are already up on Goodreads if you search my name. It's going to be a new high-fantasy series starting in 2017!

When do you think the third Scarlet novel will publish? My co-worker and I are eagerly awaiting...

If you do write more books do you think they will all be retellings of older stories or at least some form of historical fiction?
A.C. Gaughen I REALLY hope to write more historical fiction--I'm totally obsessed with history, and I think that inevitably finds its way into my writing.

That being said, the stories that I've found myself writing over the last few years have been all over the place--contemporary, fantasy, thieves, art...they don't really have much in common with each other! I think that ultimately I need to just follow my heart and see what stories it wants to tell!

Are you going to do another series after Sacarlet is done?
A.C. Gaughen I hope so! Right now (July 2014) I'm working on a new novel, but I don't have anything under contract.
