Conda V. Douglas My grandmother robbed the bank in Eagle, Idaho in 1922. She and her infamous lover, Derby Jones, were apprehended that same day. Most of the money they stole was missing and never found. Grandma never talked about it.
What happened to the money?
Conda V. Douglas My favorite thing about being a writer is that it's MY JOB to write! What a dream come true!
Conda V. Douglas Lots of ways, but my favorite is taking walks with Puck my Rat Terrier around my beloved Boise foothills.
Conda V. Douglas Read, read, read, write, write, write, edit, edit, edit, submit, submit, submit, repeat, repeat, repeat!
Conda V. Douglas The mystery novel I'm working on now, Starke Raving Dead, the second in my Starke Dead series, was inspired by my uncle's eccentricities. He tossed my grandmother out of her...grave. (It's okay, she had two, long story.) Mad Maddie Starke is busily digging a large hole in the backyard, hunting for a Native American burial. Why? her niece Dora wonders--and Dora hates the answer.
Conda V. Douglas My current project is the second in my cozy mystery Starke Dead series, Starke Raving Mad. I'm having a blast torturing my beloved characters, especially Dora, my main character, a jeweler Buddhist with too many attachments!
