If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Maurizio Codogno I think I will settle down to Asimov's Foundation Universe, and start working in tha Second Foundation :-)

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Maurizio Codogno Could the polyneuropathy I got as a child, which nearly blinded me, have changed my brain too? (Ok, it's more SF than mystery, but I hope it's ok :-) )

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Maurizio Codogno Sherlock Holmes and John Watson (No, I don't think there was a romance between the two, but they are a couple nevertheless). Holmes needs Watson, otherwise he could not shine; but Watson needs Holmes for the same reason a dog needs his master. The life of Watson would be too lame otherwise.

Hello Maurizio. I notice you have reviewed Matematica Dilettevole e Curiosa by Italo Ghersi. Do you know any more about this author? He is my great-great grandfather and I am having much difficulty finding out any information about him! I live in Australia. Many thanks! Erin

Unfortunately I have no information about him. I just checked the book and it does not even contain a small bio of the author. I think it was not a mathematician but rather an engineer, but that's the only think I know!

Maurizio Codogno scrivere, rileggere tutto da capo, e riscrivere. Solo *dopo* la riscrittura, far leggere agli altri.

Maurizio Codogno mi sto rilassando :-) Ho un progetto per un ebook di #altramatematica e un paio di libri non di matematica, ma non so se riuscirò a cavarne qualcosa.

Maurizio Codogno L'idea è stata raccontare la matematica in modo qualitativo, lasciando perdere le formule. Non che non ci vogliano le formule, ma occorre prima capire cosa c'è sotto!
