I'm a ponderer. I suppose my background in market research suited me. I love to think things over, question norms, take research and apply or question its application to real life, and ultimately look for better ways. Writing allows me to mull over an idea, make it real on paper, and iterate. Most of all, writing is a wonderful way to share ideas, advice, and experiences, which I hope will ultimately result in lifting others up. I'd say I'm the ultimate example of an author who wrote the book she needed to read. I hope my readers can learn the easy way - through my work!

Living through the early years as a mom, there was SO MUCH I didn't know. People say that being a mom is the hardest job you'll ever love. Not understanding the "hard" part of this cliche led me to miss out on a lot of joy in those early years. I want other moms to transition to motherhood with eyes wide open. I want them to have an easier time than I did, and ultimately gain all the joy and blessings that are intertwined with the crazy of these early years. There are lots of mom books out there, but I never found one that had the real deal information and tangible advice - so I wrote it.

Always keep in mind why you're writing. It's not an easy road, especially cutting through and finding those who will benefit most from your book. Be persistent and know that your work will be meaningful if you commit to the craft.
