I wanted to write a contemporary romance and I wanted to have the protagonist be a painter, like my daughter. I also used to oil paint before I became an author. I wished I had time to paint but writing takes all my time.

I was inspired to write when my grandmother passed away. I based the story on my dreams and my life in high school .... some parts at least. I didn't think I could do it, but I loved writing so much. Crossroads is my first book.

I'm currently editing When the Wind Chimes. First contemporary romance under my real name. I'm so excited for everyone to read this book. Perfect for any time of the year, but more so during Christmas.

Not ever give up. Read books from the genre you're writing. Every word counts and you can always delete the words you don't need. You can't edit what you don't have.

I would like to go to a world in my book, ISAN. Science fiction/dystopian world. I want to see flying cars, high-tech gadgets, and be an assassin for a day.

Currently, I'm so swamped with writing that I'm not sure if I'll get any reading done. However, I'm going to try to read Sisters of the Moon by Alexandrea Weis.
