I am working on the second novel set in Oliver's Well, the town ONE YEAR take place. It has a family theme, as most of my work does, and it's all at Christmas time.

Grrrrr! Great question. I avoid it at all costs. It's hard to force something creative if you just aren't there, but I do... I write. Even if it is just my train of thoughts, I write. Sometimes I change up my space with a park, or candles or an aromatherapy. May sound strange, but sometimes just shifting your perspective can bring on a whole new process.
