Aside from the excellent advice I've received time and time again ("Just write!"), my advice for aspiring writers is to write whatever you can dream of, in whatever way you wish to express it. Don't let a single thing in the universe restrict your creativity. I intend to remind myself of this advice often as I continue to move forward on this fiction writing path.

Music has always inspired my creative spirit. I choose the appropriate music to create the right atmosphere in my mind for creating the scene or piece that I intend to work on. If I just can not get into it, and I find myself with writer's block -- I will change the music or the environment and see if I can change the dynamics of what might be restricting me. I try not to force my writing. In the end, if I can not write, I will stop trying to create something and come back to it later on.
