Sherry Meidell There are many best thins about being a writer/illustrator. One of these is interacting with kids at school visits. It is a great joy to see smiles and the joy they get from creating.
Sherry Meidell Since I'm an illustrator and writer, I would say keep your sketch book handy and use it to record drawings and written words that go with them. Capture those ideas that are around you all the time.
Sherry Meidell Ideas pop into my head all of the time. I try to catch them and put them into my sketch book for future reference. I love things that bring a smile to my face.
Sherry Meidell I was on a ghost tour in Park City, Utah. I looked into murky windows on the second floor of old hotels and looked over my shoulder up darkened streets.
