Michael A. Smith I'm currently revising five of my novels written between 1970 and 1995, when books printed on the old, large printing presses eventually were remaindered, and out-of-print. Print-on-demand technology and digital books made it possible to bring such books back into the marketplace. The Authors Guild was instrumental in this process through its BackinPrint program. Michael A. Smith My high school English teacher told me I had talent as a writer, and she later encouraged and supported my effort to become editor of the school newspaper.
