What are you currently working on?
Kaye George The third book in my Vintage Sweets series. Almost done! It will come out next year. The title is INTO THE SWEET HEREAFTER.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Kaye George The act of creating fiction makes me feel wonderful. The publication and the reader reviews are terrific, too, but they are icing on the cake. The only bad part is my tendency to sit too long at the computer and strain my eyes, neck, fingers, etc.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Kaye George Don't give up! If you want to be traditionally published, keep writing, keep learning, keep perfecting your voice and your skills, and don't give up.

How do you get inspired to write?
Kaye George That's easy! Deadlines.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Kaye George I was given the title, so I came up with a plot that would work with it. I had a lot of fun figuring out the DEADLY part of DEADLY SWEET TOOTH. The one that came out in March, REVENGE IS SWEET, has personal conflicts that are nicely tangled, to bring about the REVENGE part.
