Amy Blankenship and I usually brainstorm for ideas and ideas will be put in the current book we're writing. If those ideas don't work for the current book we move it on to the next one and so on. There's no real way to explain how I get ideas for books; they just happen.

I've always been inspired to write since I was in elementary school; my English teachers loved me. I grew up with a very active imagination. I was writing fanfiction before the internet even existed and actually still remember those stories.

Currently I'm working on a new book for the Blood Bound series with Amy Blankenship. I'm also working on a sci-fi novel full of suspense, action, some comedy, and a bit of romance. No spoilers on that one as of yet; I'm hoping to have that one done by the end of the year.

Don't stop writing. Take any criticism you get and plow forward. Just remember that one bad review is just that, an opinion. Just because one person doesn't like what you've done doesn't mean that a hundred more won't like it. Keep writing and bring your dreams to life.

Being a writer, you can literally create your own universe. The characters can take on a life of their own and when that happens the book can begin to write itself.

When I get writer's block I'll usually go and start on another piece of work; start something fresh. Once I get back into the groove is when I usually get over my writer's block and can go back to the original work.

I don't really have any books on my list as of yet. Usually I don't have lists, I go shopping and if something catches my attention that's what I read.
