R.C. Lewis Nothing to announce yet but working on it.

When did you begin writing?
R.C. Lewis I actually didn't think I was creative AT ALL for the longest time. I dabbled in some never-see-the-light-of-day fan fiction writing as a teen but didn't make my first attempts at writing a novel until well into adulthood.

Can you tell us which of Essie's robots resemble each of the seven dwarves? For example, Dimwit would be Dopey, etc? Also, HUGE fan of this book :D
R.C. Lewis Even though Dimwit would seem an obvious counterpart for Dopey (and Cusser for Grumpy), I didn't really go in with the intent of a one-to-one correspondence of drone to Disney-dwarf. My aim was more to give them each a bit of personality ... and a bit of insight to Essie's personality as well.

First, I LOVE your books. Stitching Snow is one of my absolute favorites! My question is, are you a fan of Star Wars? Because I've seen lots of similarities from the movies in your stories, and was wondering if thats where some of your inspiration comes from. Either way, being a HUGE Star Wars fan, I love it! Keep up the awesome writing!
R.C. Lewis A little more of a Star Trek fan than Star Wars, but definitely grew up loving both!

R.C. Lewis For now, Stitching Snow and Spinning Starlight are my only sci-fi fairy tales. But in the future, who knows? :)

R.C. Lewis Correct! The only link is that they're both sci-fi retellings of fairytales. And thanks so much!

R.C. Lewis I have a couple of ARCs I'll be giving away in the coming months. You can also request one from my publisher (Hyperion), and I believe they will again be making eARCs available on NetGalley.
