Hi, Tara! Sorry you're having trouble finding BOUND TO DARKNESS. Any bookstore should be able to order it for you if you give them the print ISBN number: 978-1939193056. This title is an indie release, so unless a bookseller knows there is a demand for it from their customers, they typically won't stock it, unfortunately.
If you buy your books online, here are some links to the print edition:

Soon, yes, but not in BOUND TO DARKNESS. :)

Thank you, Rene! I'll admit there are aspects of Jenna's transformation that are happening as I write her in this second arc of the series. There is a big secret about her that I've been keeping since TAKEN BY MIDNIGHT, but aside from that thing I know for sure, I'm watching her physical progression the same as everyone else is. I don't imagine she'll turn completely Ancient, since she was born human, but interesting things are happening to her. And there is still a surprise or two ahead of her in the series.

Jenna is one of my favorites and I have been wondering the same thing. I love your answer and am impatiently waiting my next "Breed" fix!

(view spoiler)[I enjoy your books very much, thank you for them. how long does it take you to put into words where your imagination takes you, I mean do you take notes In pad or book before you write a book? (hide spoiler)]
Lara Adrian
Thank you for the kind words! Each book is different, and some take longer than others. I generally sketch out a premise and a few key scene ideas early on--something I call the 30,000 foot view--then let the ideas percolate for a while before I go back and flesh out the entire story in terms of chapter flow, turning points, conflicts, etc.
I use a combination of writing software (WriteWay, which my husband developed for me back in 2002!) and spreadsheets to storyboard action and scene threads before I write a single word. It sounds kind of complicated, now that I'm trying to explain it, but it works for me. The actual writing takes me about four months for a full-length novel.

I'm so happy you're enjoying the Midnight Breed series, Rhonda. Thank you! I've always loved vampires, no matter the genre. But I didn't find the undead part of the mythology especially romantic, so when I began developing my series (ten years ago now!) I incorporated the things I liked about vampire mythology, but I decided to give my Breed more of a science fiction twist for their origin and physiology. Sort of "Blade" meets "Predator." With sex. ;-)
As for the future of the series, I have several more novels and novellas on the drawing board or in process now. Can't wait to share them!

I just finished PRICELESS, my Incubus/Nephilim romance for the MASTERS OF SEDUCTION series (releasing April 27, 2015) so now I'm back to working on BOUND TO DARKNESS, Book 13 in the Midnight Breed series. I hope to have the book ready sometime in the Spring, probably May. As I'm indie publishing all of my books now, this title will release in trade paperback, ebook and audiobook at that time.

After CRAVE THE NIGHT (Book 12) there will be six more novels. I'm a plotting writer, so around the time I began working on the second arc of the series that follows DARKER AFTER MIDNIGHT, I sketched out basic story lines and characters right up to the series finale in Book 18. I also have lots of thoughts for novellas I'd like to write in between the novel releases. :)
