Alas, I don't. Sorry about that.

In that case wouldn't using domestic terrorists as the villians also be fanning the flames of anger? Someone has to be the bad guy, and there is a virulent form of Islam that has very much made it clear they would like to establish their form of Islam across the globe, no matter what it takes.

nice respond. This kind of anti-americanism that americans portray on themselves is staggering. I mean terrorists are everywhere. But I don't remember
nice respond. This kind of anti-americanism that americans portray on themselves is staggering. I mean terrorists are everywhere. But I don't remember a american terrorist group like they say doing what ISIS did. I don't see americans blowing themselves for Allah. The vast majority of these so called american terrorists just want want to be alone (minus the occasional lone wolf) Enfin. Good response

Jason, I do remember. Yes, Kodiak Pictures is still trying to get this series made into movies, although it is a long process and may never happen. if you Google "mind's Eye Variety" you can read an article on it. I hope you enjoy the series. Doug

Steve, I don't have plans currently, but I never know what I'll be writing next, and all of my novels have potential for expansion into series. So it's definitely possible. Let me know what you think of the Nick Hall books. Doug
Douglas E. Richards
Thanks for your interest. I don't have plans for a third at the moment, but it's definitely possible.
Douglas E. Richards
Thanks for the kind words. I don't have plans for a third at the moment, but I just did a 4th in the Nick Hall series after many years, so you never know. (I'm never sure what project I'll decide to do next :) Thanks for asking.

Thanks, Kat. Very kind of you. Actually, my last novel was called The Breakthrough Effect (I don't love this title, but it's too late now :). I just finished the fourth book in the Nick Hall serires calld Unleashed. It is available for pre-ordering and will be published May 9.

(view spoiler)[Why is it that Amazon would not publish my review? I tried to explain why I did not read the book because I searched for the word "fuck" and did not bother to count the occurrences. So, Amazon censored my review. But you used that word and many others throughout your book. Why isn't the book censorable? Can Amazon be called anything other than hypocritical? (hide spoiler)]
Douglas E. Richards
Robert, sorry for not responding sooner, I just saw this question now. years ago I deleted the word Fuck from my ebooks, deciding this word wasn't necessary. As for Amazon, I have no idea why they do anything they do.
Douglas E. Richards
Ken, I never saw your question until now. Thanks for the kind words and review. And congratulations on your own work. I'll take a look when I get the chance.

Thanks, Greg. No follow up planned at the moment, but it's definitely a possibility at some point in the future. I just finished Nick Hall book 4 after 7 years. Hopefully, it won't take that long to do a Portals sequel :)
Douglas E. Richards
Thanks, Kat. And sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Henry, thanks for the kind words and support. I had no idea there was any connection between the hotel and the Wizard of Oz. But once I looked it up, it is quite a cool revelation. I can't wait to tell my wife. Thanks for pointing me in this direction. Frank Baum even designed a chandelier there, apparently.

Thanks for the tip. I'll take a look when I'm done with the novel I've just started.

Jackson, I answer all my emails. I might have missed this one somehow. Also, people sometimes forget to include the E in my email adress, which is douglaserichards1@gmail.com. Please resend. Thanks!

Luke, thanks! I really appreciate that. I really don't remember what I said on various podcasts, but Writers of the Future does speak to my latest novel, Unidentified, and goes into my research for this novel.

Earth from Star Trek would be pretty cool. I would explore and transport myself around a lot.

Alas, I have a pretty boring life, so I don't think anything based on my life would make a good book :)

It's called the last answer. I'll try to insert a link to the full text of the story:
