Jonathan S. Harbour Hi Roland.
I let my website expire a few years ago when these books all became so dated. Those teens books are about 13 years old now. I'm not sure if you can even get a version of Visual Basic that will work after so long unless you have an MSDN subscription to where you can get the old versions of the software.

How old is your grandson, by the way? I wrote a much simpler book at the time called Game Programming for Kids. If your grandson is on the lower end of his teen years, then he might not be offended by the word "kid". This book is more usable today because it's based on BASIC and you can get a free version of a basic compiler. I used QB64 for that book.

That being said, if you still want the Visual Basic for Teens sources I can dig them up, but the projects probably won't open in the newest version of Visual Studio.
Jonathan S. Harbour legal issues such as copyrights need to be handled through the publisher, Cengage.
Jonathan S. Harbour that book is 13 years old now!
I would be happy to share the resource files if someone provides a host for them.
Jonathan S. Harbour That book is 20 years old!
For many years, over a decade, after the demise of Cengage, I hosted the sources for all of those old books but due to the age of these materials, I finally let the website expire.
If you want to set up a public host somewhere, I would be happy to upload the files which I still have, but I'm not hosting them personally any longer.
Jonathan S. Harbour Mostly Blake Crouch this summer! Also Roger Zelazny and I just discovered Katherine Kerr. And, Brandon Sanderson is calling to me again...
Jonathan S. Harbour Yes, I'll put those files on the site for download.
Jonathan S. Harbour Jessie knew it was a mistake but had crushed on Rob since the 8th grade and one thing led to another last weekend at the party. Two stripes yes, one stripe no.
Jonathan S. Harbour My current project is a near-future "singularity" type book involving space travel and A.I. It has been in the works for years, actually. I keep revising. I think this will be the final revision!
Jonathan S. Harbour Know your subject! Read everything about it to master the genre before attempting to write. I read a couple hundred programming books during the 10-15 years before I ever attempted to write one. Now that I'm venturing into science fiction, I've already read extensively but am exploring authors I hadn't considered before to broaden my perspectives.
Jonathan S. Harbour I'll switch to another genre that I'm inexperienced with and make a mess of a short story on subject matter I know nothing about or have no skill with, and that tends to encourage myself to get on with things in my subject area.
