S. Copperstone I find writing to be a form of therapy.
S. Copperstone Read. Or, take a walk or change my scenery, whether that be taking a different road to work, or going on vacation somewhere I've never been before. Listening to people (their tales of their vacations, or whatever) has inspired many scenes and conversations.
S. Copperstone Just keep writing. Writing something. If that's what you want to do, because if it's not what you really love to do, do something else.
S. Copperstone "Bittersweet Tavern" was actually inspired by the lyrics to a song from the 1970's by the band, Looking Glass, called "Brandy." There was something about the idea of a sailor and the woman who loved him but he couldn't really love her back as she expected because of his love for the sea. Bittersweet Tavern isn't really about that, but somehow this song inspired the idea.
