Mr. Wilder, I really enjoyed reading your Wyatt Thomas French Quarter Mysteries series and posted an enthusiastic review. I am re-reading it again and I look forward to reading your other books. Do you have any plans to screen write any of the books you have written? I’m admittedly a Nolaphile, supernatural, sci-fi, fantasy reader, thank you so much for writing these books. Marie
Eric Wilder Hi Marie, thanks for being a fan and for your reviews. Several years ago, Fred Caruso, an associate producer of The Godfather inquired if I had a script for Big Easy, Book 1 of the French Quarter Mystery Series. When I told him no, he encouraged me to write one. He helped me, editing 3 drafts before he thought we had a workable script. Caruso shopped the script in Hollywood but never sold it. Don't know if he's still trying. Like you, I also love New Orleans and love paranormal mysteries. I'm working on Book 10 of the series along with several other projects. I know it's an older book and you're probably tired of hearing it - but I just finished reading "Big Easy" and thoroughly enjoyed it! I left a review here on Goodreads and look forward to reading more of your books. Thanks for a scary couple nights! ?

If you like mysteries set in New Orleans, you might like the other four books in the series. I'm presently working on #6 titled Sisters of the Mist.
