Syn Fraser I was raised in a very religious household and the Fallen were referred to as tales of caution. Wouldn't it be cool if instead of being the boogeyman, they were men and women of honor? While most of my characters are based on fiction, I like the idea that angels are not just good and just, but as complicated as we are.
Syn Fraser I set it down and focus on something else for awhile. If I'm on a deadline, I shoot ideas to my husband and even if he's ideas aren't the greatest I find it opens up possibilities for me to continue.
Syn Fraser I'm finally able to give voices to the characters that live in my head. Now instead of interrupting my sleep, they live on paper.

Syn Fraser I'm currently working on a short series separate from the Guardians about two brothers cursed five hundred years ago.
Syn Fraser My stepmother introduced me to the world of books, and while I loved the stories I never imagined I could write my own until my 9th-grade English teacher gave us the assignment of writing a story out of spelling words. I was mortified when he read my out loud to the class but he encouraged me to pursue it.
