Lawrence T. Friedhoff I guess it's hearing that what I've written has been helpful to my readers. I do hear this from time to time, especially from students when I give drug development courses.
Lawrence T. Friedhoff Try to write on a schedule. Get something down and then try to integrate everything together in due course.
Lawrence T. Friedhoff Read. There's such great material out there. Learn from the masters.
Lawrence T. Friedhoff Working on my next book integrating some concepts from evolution, politics and biology. Pretty disparate subjects so it's taking me some time to try to make it all as simple as possible to understand.
Lawrence T. Friedhoff My main job is getting drugs approved by FDA and other international regulatory bodies. I've been pretty good at it and so every day millions of people take drugs I helped to get approved.

A lot of getting a drug approved is writing up scientific results of one kind or another. It's a special skill that requires taking complicated results and organizing them so that they are easily understandable to the various regulators. Regulators are quite strict and so one has to be scrupulously honest and forthright.

So, this "day job" was good preparation for other kinds of writing, like my two books.
Lawrence T. Friedhoff I've been interested in climate change for many years. I've been meaning to write this book for many years. I just got the time recently.
