I'm in talks with a movie producer as I write this! 😏

Couple of things that keep me inspired.
1) I read as much as I can. I watch movies and TV as much as I can. I listen to music constantly. I read and collect comic books. I go to museums. I travel. I spend time with family and friends. I spend lots of time with my wife. All of these things inspire me!
2) I make sure to schedule time to write and I try to make that time as enjoyable as possible. I need space alone. I need music most of the time to write, so I have my stereo or I use headphones. I need snacks and coffee and water. And if I have notes, then I can accomplish what I need to do in the hour or so that I write. If I can write 400 - 600 words in my hour or so of time, then I've had a productive session. If I'm undisturbed, then it's usually an enjoyable and inspiring time for me.

I can possibly read it after the new year. I'm currently writing a new novel and have limited time for outside projects at the moment. But I would be happy to take a look after Jan 1, 2020. Send me a message on Goodreads and we can exchange contact info. Do you provide review copies?

You're welcome? :)

Well, a concise answer depends on where in Texas you want to move. Texas is a very big, diverse state. I've lived mostly in San Antonio and now Austin, where I have lived for almost 30 years.
What I have encountered across the state is that most people are very friendly, so there is a welcoming quality you'll find statewide. There isn't a state income tax, making employment here very desirable. And housing is affordable in most places, although Austin is seeing a rise in housing costs due to its popularity.
I hope this helps. :)

Oh boy... Next question!

(view spoiler)[That's an excellent question and one I'm pondering myself at this very moment. I'm certain my wife will say, "Well, let's see what we have in the fridge." And sometimes I'm cool with that. But other times, I really just want a burger and a beer and I don't want to grill my own burger or brew my own beer (which I have done on occasion but it does take 6 weeks or so to brew my own beer).
So to answer your question: It's a mystery.
