When might we expect the next book in Hero of Thera series? I very much enjoyed the first two and am looking forward to the next entry in the series.

Hello Mr Nylund. Big fan of our work. I was looking around the internet but could no find anything. I'm wondering what your next project will be? I love your style of writing/worldbuilding and have you on my list of "buy next book no matter what"

Oh that sucks. I'm sorry, I didn't know that. You're completely right, I wouldn't want to work with them under those conditions either! I just would have hoped they would get you involved, seeing as in Infinite they are introducing more aesthetics from the Bungie-era Halo games. It's their loss though for losing a great writer on their universe. Here's a question mark because the reply requires one?

What date can we expect your next Halo novel? ;)
Eric S. Nylund 343 knows I'm always interested in more HALO, but there are two reasons this might not ever happen First, 343 hasn't contacted me in many years. I think, just maybe, they've moved on to other contributors. :) I must be hard to work with or something.
Second, the HALO books were republished under a new imprint about a year ago. Since then, myself and a few other authors have yet to be paid royalties due. Not super enthusiastic about workling without pay.

Who can say, though. Never say never, right?

But for right now, magic 8-ball says: "No way!"
