Dear Gail, I am just starting to do the research for the sixth book, so I am afraid it won't be out for some time, but I hope to publish at least 2-3 short stories featuring people from the series in the interim. I hope you got the message that if you sign up for my newsletter ( which I use to announce any new publications or promotions), that you can get the collected short stories for free.

Dear Simone,
Thanks for reading the book, and writing the lovely review! Yes, I plan on continuing to write in this genre featuring the same characters but each book focusing on a different occupation (and in the short stories focusing on some of the minor characters). So, while Maids of Misfortune featured domestic service, Uneasy Spirits looked at spiritualists, Bloodly Lessons, teachers, and the newest book Deadly Proof, women in printing in SF. So now I am busy starting the research for the next one--which I think will deal in some ways with women in the "needle trades" and department stores.
By the way, Bloody Lessons will be 99 cents May 5-7 on most ebook retailers. And if you sign up for my newsletter--you can get a copy of the collected short stories for free (See my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mlouisalocke..., or blog http://mlouisalocke.com to sign up.)
Again, thanks for you support.

Dear Melissa, Sorry I didn't answer your question right away--I had my head down working on the next book! I just finished the first draft of the 4th book, which is called Deadly Proof and takes Annie, Nate, and others into the SF printing industry. I hope to have the book rewritten and edited and available by February. So glad you enjoyed the series.
