I don't get inspired, and although I have from time to time come upon a period, or a storyline or character which fascinates me, I believe the old adage which says that writing is 99% perspiration and only 1% inspiration. If I waited for inspiration I'd never get anything done!

I don't believe there is such a thing. If I find I am stuck and can't go forward, I just continue to write any sort of rubbish as long as I can. When I come back to it next day I can always delete it, but there is usually something in there which will be enough to develop further. I also ask myself questions like 'What if...?'
