No, GOOD LIEUTENANT came after SKINNY, but that was the last in the series. Sorry about that.
E.J. Copperman
I'm afraid so. The publisher did not renew the contract on the series, so GOOD LIEUTENANT is the last in the group. Sorry I don't have better news for you.
E.J. Copperman
Sorry, but it's unlikely. The publisher closed its doors a few years ago. Wish I had better news.
E.J. Copperman
I'm afraid not. The publisher did not accept the third book in the series and has requested no more. It wasn't the author's choice (it almost never is). Sorry about that. If it's any consolation, I hadn't decided whether Duffy was real or not.

I'm afraid at this moment there are no plans for more Guesthouse books. The publisher has not requested any more, and we've already moved the series from one publisher to another once before. It's very unlikely that can happen again. Suffice it to say this was not the author's preference. Sorry I can't give you better news. Thanks for asking.

Just finished #10 & it was the best one out of all of them. So sad the series isn't continuing. The characters were evolving in a way that would have made the series able to go another 10 books, but alas it's not to be. :(

Hi, Som.
Sorry it took me SO long to answer; I just didn't see the question until now. I'm afraid the trade paperback edition of Bones Behind the Wheel has not been released by the publisher. I can't explain why because I don't know. I'm hoping there will be one soon!
Thanks for reading my books. Despite how it might seem all these months later, I really do appreciate it.

Hi, Mayar. I'm afraid the publisher decided against the third book, so there are no plans for that at the moment. I'm so glad you enjoyed the first two and hope you'll look into some of my other series, including the new one coming out early next year!

Hi, Lori! I've been writing about Asperger's for a while now. I have a child who was diagnosed with it quite a while ago and at the time felt like it needed a little more understanding among the general population. But I don't like to preach (even though I've written two nonfiction books on the subject) so I try to make a fun story and just include spectrum behavior in it. Thanks for asking!

I just started the fifth (!) Asperger's Mystery with Samuel Hoenig. I'm less than 20 pages into it so I can't tell you much so far other than Samuel is being asked a question he'd prefer to turn down and hasn't figured out how to do that yet.

I always tell aspiring writers to quit, and I mean it. Those who don't believe in themselves will stop writing. Those who ignore the advice might have the persistence to hang in there and become published authors. There's no such thing as an aspiring writer; you're either a writer or you're not. There are aspiring published authors. That's another whole story.

The commute. I walk down the stairs from the bedroom to my office and I'm at work.

Each Mysterious Detective book ends with the germ of an idea for the next because it's always about finding out who this Duffy Madison character really is, and so far we haven't had a definitive answer.

If I wake up in the morning and I have a deadline, that's enough inspiration.

I don't believe in writer's block. It's the fear of writing something lousy. If you don't write anything, you can't make it better.
