My answer will be similar to those of other authors: read, read, read, and write, write, write! Only by reading will you gain experience, vocabulary, structure, etc., and by listening to other voices, you will develop your own. And write every day or as often as possible. You can't learn to cook, drive a car or ski unless you do it. Right?

The third book in the StarCrossed Romance series, titled The Gypsy in Me. This book picks up around 8 or 9 years after the ending of A Hero's Promise, and involves the now grown children of the series' original main characters. History repeats itself in more ways than one. I should be ready to go to press by early summer!

I believe the only times I've experienced what some call writer's block are when I've either (a) got too many other obligations that interfere with my writing time, or (b) I've made a wrong turn at the last crossroads in my book. If the latter, I go back and try to find the last significant decision made by a character and see if I should change it. If th former, I try to clear my calendar for some quality writing time.
