I gave myself a break. I took days off. I trusted. Eventually, I sat back down and clocked in. I never took more than a week or two off except during the holidays.

I worked with a talented coach, Leigh Anne Tsuji. She gave me direction. Mostly, I learned that writing is a blue collar job. You have to clock in and work everyday. That's how I wrote. I dedicated time daily...not much time because I can't write for hours on end. I worked for 90 minutes 5 days a week.:)
