Karen Azinger Kath and Duncan of the Silk & Steel Saga. I took what I learned from other fictional couples and poured it into Kath and Duncan. Three books inspired the way I write romance, but I cannot reveal their names or it they would give too much away about Kath and Duncan's romance. I can say that these three books are not fantasy, they are not science fiction and they are not romance.
Karen Azinger I am sorry but the e-book is only available on Amazon. I used to have it on B&N but Kindle offered me more advantages to go exclusively with them. Can you download the free Kindle app to your Sony reader? I don't really know much about Sony readers. I wish you could get my book. I'd love for you to read it.
Karen Azinger Hi David, Thanks for asking. I'm planning on two more books to complete the saga. The sixth book, The Prince Deceiver, should be published this September. I can't wait to get it to my readers. I'm waiting on the cover artwork and then it will be ready to publish. The last book, The Battle Immortal, is started but I have a lot of writing to do. I'm hoping to publish the last book by Nov 2015. Writing this saga has been quite an adventure!
Karen Azinger 1. Start writing, write some more, keep writing and never stop!
2. Read books, read widely and deeply, especially in your genre. In my opinion, the best way to learn how to write is to read! Learn the good, the bad, and the ugly from those who have gone before. When you read a book you love, figure out why you love it, and then apply that learning to your own writing.
3. Once you think you've written something good, get strangers to read it. Listen to everything they say, then develop a talent for knowing what advice to take and what to ignore. Do NOT skip this step!
4. Go back to 1 and keep writing, reading, editing, reviewing and your masterpiece will evolve before your very eyes! When your story and your prose sing, then publish it! Best of luck to you!
Karen Azinger I'm working on the final edits of The Prince Deceiver, the sixth book of The Silk & Steel Saga. I'm also working with my cover artist on the design of The Prince Deceiver cover (very excited about the initial design). I'm planning to publish the book in Oct 2014, or possibly in Sept if everything comes together sooner. I can't wait to get this latest book of The Silk & Steel Saga to my readers! :)
