My most recent book is, In the Garden. My idea came from my love of flowers and gardening. I wanted to share this love with my illustrations and poems.

Writer's Block usually comes when I am not relaxed. I am either tired and need to take a break from writing or I have a family matter that needs my attention. So I just step away for a time until I feel the inspiration again.

As an Artist I have been involved with many different Art forms, painting,
sculpture, pottery, doll making, jewelry making. When I began to write a
story I created my characters. I had no idea where the story would take me.
Then the most amazing thing happened the characters took on a life of their
own and the story evolved with me just as an observer as it unfolded. Never as an Artist had I experienced such a state of creative joy.

Never give up. I have been writing stories for over 20 years and have gotten many rejections but I believed in myself and I continued moving forward a step at a time, looking at every available option to be able to share my stories and illustrations.

I also write short stories and have three Amazon Shorts available. They are ebooks but very short stories available for only $1.00. The Sugar Bowl, Uncle Oliver,

I started keeping journals after my children were born. Many of my books came from my journals. I am greatly inspired by the seasons and nature. For many years I lived on a lake in the Ramapo Mountains of New Jersey surrounded by a beautiful state park and botanical gardens. I became very close to nature during those years and was blessed to have a peaceful environment to express my creativity.
