Sandra Masters I wrote the book in 2005 and let it rest for a long time. As I got more involved in craft, I revised it to reflect current standards. I never created a Duke I didn't fall in love with, or the strong willed independent spirited women who tamed them. Especially love rakes that begged to be redeemed. ONCE UPON A DUKE is the story of Lady Serena and His Grace Geoffrey Austen. It's spicy steamy seduction with swagger.
Sandra Masters MY WICKED TATTOOED BOOK, was inspired by two photographs of a painting showing a woman at the ocean's edge peering through her telescope. She became Cassandra.
The second painting was of a little girl and boy playing at the beach. The girl became Alicia and the little boy was Alfie, heir to an Earl.
I'm a plotster basically, and my husbands helps out here, and sometimes I depart from my synopsis and let the characters lead me.
It's a wild ride and worth it.
Sandra Masters Second book of the DUKE Series, MY WICKED TATTOOED DUKE, Book 2. It's so different from the first book, ONCE UPON A DUKE. Basically, it's about one aristocratic family of cousins and how they came to be. The third book, tentatively is entitled THE DUKE'S SON. The fourth and fifth books will release together, ONE NIGHT WITH A DUKE.
Sandra Masters I can't say I never had Writer's Block, but when you're working on a series, one book leads to the other, and before you're finished with the second book, your plotting the third book. Middle of the night, at the shopping center, at seminar, at a writer's critique group.

I also have a fertile imagination, and in my Regency Writing LOVE doing the research and belonging to Beau Monde Chapter of RWA. Such generous authors.

Sandra Masters Pride of authorship; networking with new friends, readers and authors. I list my occupation as , "Living My Dream". It's nothing I expected, but everything I Dreamed.
Sandra Masters Rule #1, Never Give Up.
Rule #2, Remember Rule #1
Rule #3, Constantly hone your craft.
