Hey first of all I love you books! I am currently loving Secret Unleashed and was wondering how you got Secret's character so wildly untamed? Is she you favorite to write so far? Where did you get her personality?

Sierra Dean Secret has by far been the most fun I've ever had writing a character. I think I enjoy writing heroines with sass and wit because their dialogue is very in line with my own internal monologue. By the time I'd gotten around to Secret Unleashed, writing her was second nature. I knew her weird quirks and the things she would and wouldn't put up with. Over the course of 8 books and 2 novellas I was given a lot of freedom to put her in some truly insane situations which I then had to factor in to how she'd behave in later books. (Secret Unleashed has one such game changing moment, I hope you enjoy!)

Sierra Dean Hi! Currently I'm working on a spin-off series with her younger sister Genie. While this is mostly about werewolves, vampires will definitely be involved.

Sierra Dean Hi Rachael! I sure hope so! Getting books into audio can actually be tricky, because the audio publisher needs to come to an arrangement with my book publisher. It's definitely something both myself and my publisher are pushing for, though, and I would definitely love to see them in an audio edition.

Sierra, I have finished the first two books and am almost finished with the third book in the "Secret" series. I have ordered the fourth and fifth books, but I note that the sixth and seventh in the series are E-books only. Will these be released in paperback as the others were? Alan Smith

Sierra Dean All books with my publisher Samhain are first released in digital format and then one year later in paperback. Book 6 will be out this fall in paperback, books 7 and 8 will be out next year.
