Is there ever going to be a sequel to The Castle School (for troubled girls) because on fantastic Fiction it's in the series series section on your page and says book 1? And I Loved second star i hardly read books where I dont want to put them down and I read it back in 2017 or a year after

Alyssa Sheinmel It varies! Over the years, my books have ranged from anywhere between 50,000 and 100,000 words, give or take.

Alyssa Sheinmel Hi Scott--thanks so much for your questions! There's no difference between an Alyssa Sheinmel and an Alyssa B. Sheinmel book; I hope that What Kind of Girl will be released as an audiobook someday, but no plans at the moment!

Hi Alyssa. I just finished reading A Danger to Herself & Others and I LOVED it! I really became invested in the main character, Hannah, and find myself thinking about how her journey continued after going home. Is there a plan in the future to continue with her storyline in a sequel to that book?

I reed Faceless 3 years ago, and it was one of the most beautifel and amazing books that I have read in my life. It was fascinating. And I was inspired by the story wich let me write a whole research paper about the psyclogical effects of face transplant to the recipients for my diploma. So, my question is "Why did you choose to write about this medical issue specifically??"

A lot of different things inspired me to write Faceless--years ago, I knew I wanted to write a story about a girl who'd been in an accident, a girl who would wonder just how closely who she was was tied to what she looked like. But it wasn't until my editor shared an article about a face transplant with me that I knew how I wanted to tell this story. Thank you so much again for your question--happy reading!

I just read Faceless, and it was fascinating. I did some Googling about face transplants. I noticed that the people who have received them are adults--the youngest person who received a transplant (that I found in my quick search) was 21. So, I was wondering, in your research for the book, did anyone mention if this procedure would be possible for a teenager or if there'd be a reason why a teen wouldn't receive one?
